Post Malone revealed a dramatic new tattoo with his summer haircut
Along with his gravelly voice and catchy songs, Post Malone is perhaps best known for his tattoos. The singer is literally covered head-to-toe in ink, so it’s a wonder that he hasn’t run out of space to add more tats to his collection by now. But alas, Malone found a spot for his newest, massive tattoo—and he made room by shaving his head. Now that’s dedication.
On June 22nd, Post Malone debuted a super-short summer haircut that showed off his giant new skeleton head tattoo. Fittingly, the intricate ink sprawls across the side of Malone’s own head.
The Grammy-nominee introduced his new tattoo to the world in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“I have cut my hair even shorter, also skeletons are cool. Spread your heart as much as you can. A little love goes farther than you think. Stay strong, and keep kicking ass. Love, Austin,” the singer wrote, signing his given name, Austin Richard Post.
We’re going to take a wild guess that your head might be one of the most painful places to get inked, but we’re also guessing Malone has a high pain tolerance because he keeps coming back for more tats. Maybe the other side of his head is next? If he keeps his summer buzzcut, there’s plenty of space to get creative with.
It’s unclear how many tattoos Post Malone has in his current collection, but it’s somewhere around 60, according to Body Art Guru. The tats range from sketchy doodles to intricate words to shaded portraits. However, this skeleton head tattoo is big and bold, so who knows what Malone has up his sleeve next.
