This beloved ’90s pop queen just announced a Las Vegas residency, and take our wallets now

Just days after reports announced that Cardi B is getting a Las Vegas residency, late nineties/early aughts diva and your childhood fave Christina Aguilera said she’s heading down to Sin City too. Christina Aguilera: The Xperience will open on May 31st, 2019 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and, according to Aguilera, it’s her “most ambitious show yet.”

"Getting to perform in this adult playground we call Las Vegas is inspiring me to bring forth all of my talents in a mind-blowing theatrical experience—song, dance, visuals and uninterrupted high energy," Aguilera said in a press release. "For years I have been collecting ideas and concepts that have yet to be implemented on my stages, and Las Vegas is the perfect opportunity for me to collectively showcase my artistry."

Aguilera will perform 16 dates throughout May, June, September, and October—though who knows, maybe it will go so well that she’ll hunker down in Vegas, Celine Dion-style.

Aguilera opened up about the residency during an Ellen Show appearance on Tuesday, January 29th, 2019, and said she’s been talking about going to Vegas for years. “I’ve been culminating this for a long time, so I’m really excited for everyone to experience this Xperience with me,” Aguilera told Ellen.

The official poster for the show is wild, and according to Aguilera’s Instagram, the residency will be “a multisensory escape to a world of magic & total freedom.” Whoa.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 2nd, 2019, and can they just garnish the ticket cost straight out of our paycheck? We’re serious. Head to ChristinaAguilera.com for all the info.
