Playlist of the week: Cover songs that are almost better than the originals
Cover songs are something special. Take BBC’s Radio One Live Lounge, it almost feels like I’m at karaoke with the coolest musicians. But I am not, I am alone in my apartment singing the Gilmore Girls theme song over and over and as appealing as my version is, don’t worry, you’re not missing much.
