This girl’s pizza selfie is going viral thanks to a hilarious (and ingenious?) selfie hack

Sometimes, all a girl wants to do is Instagram her dinner, but poorly-lit restaurants make for poor selfie material. One creative teen enlisted the help of several teammates to make sure her pizza-eating selfie was perfectly lit.

The volleyball player posted a shot of her eating pizza to Twitter, alongside a photo of several other girls holding up their phones to illuminate her face in the selfie. It’s a trick photographers and videographers use on a daily basis: When shooting in a dark space, you need a key light (front) and fill light (side) to get the movie star look you crave. Why not do it with phones?

We've gotta hand it to her: She looks positively flawless in her selfie, even while taking a big ol' bite of pizza.

The tweet has since gone viral, garnering more than 50,000 retweets.
