This pizza box is made out of pizza and we don’t even know WHAT to think

Pizza delivery is magic. Is there anything better than ordering a pizza and having that pizza arrive to your doorstep 30 minutes-ish later? You get to eat pizza without even leaving your house. Maybe even your couch if there’s someone else home to open the door.

As it turns out, there is something better. And it’s brought to you directly from Vinnie’s Pizzeria in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s a pizza box… made out of PIZZA. It’s literally a pizza box.

Sean Berthiaume, one of Vinnie’s co-owners, came up with the creation when things were a little slow in the shop. He constantly sees pizza boxes in trashcans all over Brooklyn, so he used that as inspiration to create an environmentally friendly way to hold pizzas.

Vinnie’s tweeted a photo of the creation, because duh. Pizza boxes made out of pizza deserved to be tweeted.

“Introducing The PIZZA BOX PIZZA! A pizza box made entirely out of pizza! No waste, 100% pizza and 100% delicious,” Vinnie’s captioned the photo.

The traditional circular pizza is served inside a rectangular shaped box made out of pizza. Vinnie’s is happy to make the pizza-box pie for anyone who wants one (everyone…?), and it’s even available for delivery (locally, of course), according to NBC New York.

It’ll cost you $40, but you’ll basically be getting three pizzas.

They’re still working out the kinks — like, how will the inside pizza not stick to the outside pizza? And how will they deliver the pizzas without putting them in actual cardboard boxes? And will it be possible to eat the pizzas without making a massive mess? Is it even sanitary? As of now, the plan is to wrap them in foil and deliver in a pizza bag. But no answers to the other questions just yet.

But we believe in Vinnie’s, and we believe in pizza.
