Calling all storytellers! You’re in luck because Pixar just launched a free online storytelling class taught by some of their awesome filmmakers. And you can watch the first video in the series now. Did we mention that it’s free? Are you ready to jump in yet?

Pixar is known for creating some of the best stories in the film business. You’ve probably heard of Toy Story or Finding Nemo, right? You’ve likely cried while watching Inside Out or Up. Pixar tells good stories. Here’s a quick refresher on just how many amazing stories they’ve told.

Did you cry? Exactly. And now some of Pixar’s successful storytellers are offering to teach you their amazing storytelling ways. How sweet! The course is available on Khan Academy and will feature six lessons released throughout 2017. The lessons have videos and activities built in to teach you how to tell stories. After all, stories can change the world and your story deserves to be told.

The first lesson is called “We Are All Storytellers” and is designed to introduce you to the world of storytelling and the importance of your unique perspective. Here’s a summary of the awesomeness in Lesson One:

In this lesson you’ll hear from Pixar directors and story artists about how they got their start, what stories inspire them, and you’ll begin to think about what kinds of stories you might want to tell.
