The ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ gag reel is the perfect midweek pick-me-up

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: Gag reels are my kryptonite. Bloopers are the absolute funniest thing in the world to me. Nothing makes me laugh harder than watching the cast of my favorite TV show or movie giggle, break character and make each other — and the off-screen crew — laugh. Sometimes on purpose! Gag reels are a fun look into what goes into making the movie. I think I love them so much because it’s a compilation of moments that make me go, “Hey! They’re just like me!”

If you’re into bloopers too, hold on to your hats, because we’ve just been gifted the gag reel of all gag reels. Pitch Perfect 2 came out on DVD yesterday, and the extras include an aca-mazing gag reel. Like I needed another reason to love Anna Kendrick & Co.

It makes me warm and fuzzy inside to know that some of our favorite actresses are fun, silly people. So prepare yourself for one minute and 38 seconds of Anna Kendrick throwing up rogue peace signs, Rebel Wilson sporting a fake tongue and Adam DeVine trying not to break things. There are plenty of funny faces and botched lines. Oh, and there’s awkward dancing — a LOT of awkward dancing.
