The Pisces Full Moon is asking you to swan-dive into your dreams
If you’ve been feeling all your emotions bubbling up to the surface like a cauldron atop a vibrant flame, then take a deep breath. It’s the Pisces Full Moon, and she’s here with a message. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and the most intuitive. The sign is all about feeling; about exploring the watery depths of our souls, emotions, and heart. And today’s full moon, which takes place two weeks after the eclipse and two weeks before the beginning of fall, is asking us to explore our deepest desires.
This year, September’s full moon is known as the Corn Moon, because it occurs around the time that corn is harvested. Usually, this month’s moon would be the Harvest Moon, but of course, 2017 has to go and change things up. This year, October’s full moon is the Harvest Moon because it’s closer to the fall equinox, which takes place on September 22nd. The Pisces Full Moon, it seems, is full of surprises.
Full Moon tonight at 4 AM UT. Called the Corn Moon, Fruit Moon, Sap Moon or Worm Moon. Sometimes it is the Harvest Moon, but not this year! pic.twitter.com/NCT4sUX4bh

Think back to a month ago, when the new moon lunar eclipse happened and invited you to think of your most intimate wishes. New moons are a time of intention setting; they’re shrouded in darkness and mystery, perfect for planting a seed and watching it bloom. Now, at the full moon, we’re tasked with exploring this dream in a new way; and for manifesting it however we see fit.
The Pisces Moon is asking you to deal, heal, and dream.
Besides taking tally of our dreams and desires, this moon is also asking us to get real about our healing. The Pisces Full Moon is emotional. She may be bringing up heartache, pain, guilt, grief, loneliness, or something else entirely. And if there’s one thing she’s asking us, it’s to deal to heal.
How can we work with our darkness to transmute it into something that teaches us? We’re being asked to integrate parts of ourselves that may hang heavily with shame so we can manifest our dreams moving forward. Every part of yourself is worth talking to and loving, and it’s time we stop believing otherwise. Instead of feeling resentful about these feelings, be compassionate towards yourself. Acknowledge your pain or hurt. Take time to sit with it. Treat yourself like a loved one or a pet, and nurture yourself. The moon is also blurring the lines between dreamtime and real-time, which reminds us that we have energetic and physical tools at our disposal to help us through these hardships.
Flow like the river.
The thing with the dream you dreamed at the eclipse is that the framework is already there for it to manifest. The sun is in Virgo, the meticulous, organized, and careful sign of the virgin. Think schedules, plans, and organization. Pisces, the sign of the fish, is none of these things. While Virgo’s strength lies in having a solid plan, that of Pisces lies in its ebb and flow like the moon. Together, the two form a perfect sort of riverbank; while Virgo is the banks and earth, Pisces is the water, flowing between.
This moon is asking us, “How can we find freedom within limitations?” Do you need to schedule time for your passions, for a new project, for therapy, or for working out? Give yourself set time to be productive and responsible, so you have time to be free to explore the crevices of your soul in whatever way you see fit.

Light a candle for those who are struggling.
The world feels pretty chaotic right now. Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, wildfires, the repeal of DACA…there are plenty of people who need some love, guidance, help, and protection. If you can, take some time to light a candle for them. Imagine the sun shining on those affected by floods, the rain washing away the fires, and those who may face deportation embracing their loved ones. Send these people love and guidance and ask the universe, or whatever god/dess you pray to, to protect them.
Remember, more than anything, your heart is a valuable creature. Take time to love and honor her, and she will repay you threefold.
