Pink just revealed her post-baby weight for a reason that makes us feel SO empowered

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about body positivity, it’s that you’ve got to ignore numbers. You should never EVER judge your body by the characters on a scale. Weight doesn’t matter for looking fab! But even though we KNOW this to be true, it can be hard to totally ignore the numbers sometimes. That’s why we were completely inspired by Pink’s recent Instagram post.

Pink shared her weight on Instagram with a kick-butt workout photo, and we could not be more inspired right now.

After her second baby, she looks amazingly strong and super fit. But she admits, she hasn’t exactly reached her goal weight.

"Would you believe I'm 160 pounds and 5'3"?" Pink writes in the caption. "By 'regular standards' that makes me obese. I know I'm not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don't feel obese. The only thing I'm feeling is myself. Stay off that scale ladies!"

We hear her message loud and clear. Body weight and BMI doesn’t account for muscle, and clearly, she has a lot of that. Anyone who’s seen Pink’s gravity-defying performance at the Grammys knows that she’s one of the strongest celebs out there.
