Pink is not happy with people bashing Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl show

Despite what people might be saying, Pink totally loved Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl performance thank you very much.

Following Lady Gaga’s incredible Super Bowl performance on Sunday night (February 5th), which saw the singer “jumping” off the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and be wired down to the stage where she performed a medley of hits, including “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” “Poker Face,” and “Just Dance.”

However, because we still live in a world where people have to pit women against each other, there’s been some out cry that Lady Gaga had, in fact, copied fellow performer Pink. Now, Pink is known for her aerial acrobatics, and has utilized them in numerous live performances and tours, such as her performance at the Billboard Music Awards last year.

Well, Pink wants the world to know that she actually loved Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl performance.

Taking to Instagram, the singer said that she was in awe of Gaga’s performance.

“For the record: Let’s squash this before it even has a chance to be a thing… Lady Gaga killed it yesterday. Her voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point, choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness, all in front of millions and millions of people," she wrote. "Let’s celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place. Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn’t! Cirque and Peter pan been in the air for years!

Pink then went on to say that people should focus their efforts on things that matter. See her full statement below.

Tbh, we’re totally with Pink on this one. As she said, we should totally be celebrating Gaga, and shouldn’t be pitting women against each other. Rather, especially in this socio-political climate, women should be supporting women.

We’re super proud that Pink decided to speak up on the matter, and put any awfulness to bed!
