Pink deserves an award for her response to a “little purple troll” who age-shamed her on Twitter
There are many impressive things about Pink: her ability to sing her heart out while hanging upside down in the air, her adorable approach to motherhood, and of course, her epic comebacks. This pop star is not one to sit back and let others say whatever they want about her, and we love her for that. Most recently, Pink had the perfect response for a “little purple troll” on Twitter who said she looked old — and honestly, she deserves an award for this one.
The “little purple troll” in question (don’t worry, you’ll get the reference in a minute) responded to a tweet from radio station KIISFM, saying, “Wow Pink looks so old that should be named Purple instead.” The wording may be strange, but basically the person who tweeted the message was trying to age-shame Pink, and she wasn’t having it.
Pink, as outspoken as ever, gave the absolute best response:
You must be from la. Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every fucking minute of my 38 years. How you lookin though? Cause I never heard of ya til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll. https://t.co/3WcH2TRrHW

That wasn’t even all of it! The singer added to her response in a second tweet, saying that she loves that she might look older because it means she’s alive.
I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old. That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot. I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I’m alive. 🤙🏼

The epic comeback obviously didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter, and fans cheered Pink on, applauding her for not backing down and standing up for herself in the face of ageism.
Man, I’m 38 and you are my inspiration to be fit, strong and badass. It’s important that my daughters(12 & 10) have real role models like you. I’m proud that we will hopefully be taking them to see you in Scotland next year. Love you P!nk

Pink even responded to a fan who wrote, “Can’t wait to see you when you’re 80. And if you’re still doing aerial stunts, all the better.” She replied:
You know I will! I’ll call it “the wrinkles and rolls tour” https://t.co/DMXdgyu3dB

This isn’t the first time Pink has clapped back at critics on Twitter. In March, she snapped back at a troll who claimed she only makes music for “obnoxious people.” And this past February, she took down a Twitter user who said, “Pink sucks and if you like her singing you’re dumb.” Pink’s reply? “Yeah but at least I suck while singing our [country’s] national anthem, and you just suck by yourself on a dirty couch. #winning”
#Winning, indeed. Pink, never lose your fire! And for the record, we would definitely buy tickets to that “wrinkles and rolls” tour.
