Pink is already dishing out relationship advice to her daughter Willow
One thing’s for sure — Pink isn’t afraid to get real. Just the other day, it was revealed that she’s been having conversations about gender with her daughter for quite some time, and now we know that Pink has interesting dating advice for Willow — and as she’s only six, hopefully she’ll be able to pocket it for now, and use it later on.
The singer, who’ll be featured on Cosmopolitan‘s January 2018 cover, wasn’t afraid to tell all during her interview. As there’s no doubt that she’s been all about parenting since the birth of her daughter, it makes sense that the magazine would ask her additional questions about what it’s like to be the mom of Willow and baby Jameson, who’ll be a year old in a few weeks.
Willow, who previously told Pink that she’d like to eventually get married to an African woman, had a question this time about boys. Specifically, how many boyfriends could she have at one time? And Pink’s advice was smart, but also totally something your mother would say.
“I said: “Excuse me?…Probably none of them because they won’t deserve you,” Pink stated to the magazine, as reported by Buzzfeed. “They have to be kind, respectful. They have to be chivalrous. They have to be good to their moms. They have to be good looking, and they have to be funny.”
That’s a long list, but we have to agree — Willow is already such an incredible young woman that she should focus on quality, not quantity.
Pink’s interview also revealed a few other words of wisdom she’s given her daughter, such as “We don’t say mean things and we don’t say things we don’t mean,” and “It’s very boring to be normal.”
Parents-to-be might want to jot a few of these down, as Pink’s motherly advice is simply top notch.
