Pink shared a photo of herself breastfeeding during a hike for the most perfect of reasons
In an age where mothers are still stigmatized for breastfeeding their children in public/using their breasts for what they are literally there for, we were psyched to see that Pink snapped a pic of herself breastfeeding baby Jameson while on a hike.
The "Raise Your Glass" singer included the caption, “#happybaby #hotpocket #normalizebreastfeedingyo #arewethereyet.
Did you see that? “#normalizebreastfeedingyo.” And to this we can only say, SO MUCH YES.
It’s 2017, and yet there are still countless stories and anecdotes about women made to feel uncomfortable or ashamed of breastfeeding in public. In a world where women’s scantily-clad bodies are plastered on the sides of buses and billboards, there are still people out there who somehow can’t seem to cope with seeing a little side boob while a mother feeds her hungry child (literally, just about the most natural thing in the entire world. We can’t really stress this enough).

Pink never shies away from addressing issues head on and telling it like it is — especially when it comes to societal pressures placed on women. She recently had us cheering with the below post about scales and body weight.
"Stay off that scale ladies!" she wrote.
We couldn’t be prouder or more in sync with the messages Pink is putting out into the world these days. She’s using her public platform to chime in on important issues, and hopefully she’ll change a few minds/challenge some preconceived notions along the way.
