Check out these amazing new photos of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

The tiny glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman made us so excited for girl to get her own film. Though we have to wait ’til next year (June 2nd, 2017, to be precise) for Diana Prince to get her own flick (Boooooooooo) we are jazzed to report that we just got some new photos from on set via Entertainment Weekly and they lead us to believe that Wonder Woman is going to be A+ viewing. Check it:

AKA everyone’s Halloween costume next year, yes you have to also have the shield, okay, okay, if you need your hands free for trick-or-treating or drinking or whatever you don’t HAVE to have the shield, but you have to have the headpiece, no exceptions.

Just another costume angle, we’re going to be spending the better part of next year trying to figure out how to make those wrist-plates out of tinfoil.

Here’s a shot of Gal Gadot with her director Patty Jenkins AKA the woman who wrote and directed serial killer Aileen Wuornos’ biopic Monster AKA the woman who won Charlize Theron an Oscar. Jenkins has had a rough past with comic book adaptations. She was originally attached to direct Thor 2, and was then dismissed, which particularly sucked because she would have been the first woman to direct a big comic book blockbuster, so we’re so glad to see her reentering the sphere in a manner most triumphant, and claiming her rightful place in film history.

Too excited about Wonder Woman, 2017 (and Halloween) can’t come soon enough!
