Blake Lively celebrated her 30th with Anna Kendrick in the most low-key way ever
Happy Sweet 16 to Blake Lively! To ring in the big 3-0, Lively threw herself a “Super Sweet 16”-themed birthday party — a superb idea, in our opinion, to calm the potential nerves of entering a new decade.
Lively celebrated with a gaggle of friends, including her A Simple Favor costar, Anna Kendrick. The birthday group wined, dined, and then indulged in a giant chocolate-coated birthday cake that may just be the most beautiful thing we’ve ever seen.
The birthday girl posted a photo of the party on Instagram and captioned it, "My super sweet 16. ...but like 14 years late." It's never too late to celebrate 16. Party on, Blake!
Also there to celebrate with Lively was jewelry designers (and sisters from different mamas), Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Sandberg.
Sandberg posted an Instagram from the dinner party showing the adorable Lively with her sparkler-lit mini cake. She tagged the photo #friendsthatarefamily.
And although husband Ryan Reynolds was not there to hang with the girl gang, he posted a ~heartfelt~ and hilarious message to Instagram to wish his wife the happiest of birthdays.
Her birthday may have been on Friday, but Lively was receiving gifts throughout the weekend (#birthWEEK). Lively was inundated with balloons and loads of treats that will surely last her until next year’s birthday — her Sweet 17.
