A fan shared a photo of Carrie Underwood after her facial injury, and she looked happy and healed

Carrie Underwood has kept a low profile since suffering injuries to her face and wrist, but Underwood did pose for a photo with Adrienne Gang from the show Below Deck just weeks after the incident. On December 12th, the reality star shared the photo of the two after running into Underwood at the gym – and she looked happy and healthy.

Underwood appears to be wearing a brace on her wrist, but the picture does not reveal any obvious injuries on her face. Gang told fans on Twitter that the country star was in such great spirits that she had no idea the fall had been so bad.

“I had no idea she got hurt prior to meeting her,” Gang also revealed to UsMagazine.com. “She had a wrist brace on, but I didn’t think much of it until I saw the headlines after I posted our picture together.”

In November, Underwood revealed to fans that she had broken her wrist after falling on some steps outside her home. Then, on New Year’s Eve, she revealed that in addition to having surgery on her wrist, her face also required “40-50” stitches.

"There is also another part of the story that I haven't been ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up," she wrote on her website. "It's crazy how a freak random accident can change your life."

Underwood wrote in the post that she’s healing but is “not quite looking the same” following the incident. However, the photo from Gang makes up hopeful that everything will be okay.

We’re sending Underwood all our positive vibes and wishing her a full recovery.
