Perrie Edwards will never tell the full story behind her breakup with Zayn Malik and here’s why

Breaking up is hard to do. It’s even harder to do in the public eye. So we can totally the reasoning behind why British pop star Perrie Edwards won’t discuss her Zayn Malik breakup. The two musicians had been dating for a while, but shocked the world when they announced their split earlier in the summer. Needless to say their breakup shocked fans the world over.

Although Edwards has talked about how hard breaking up was, she’s stayed relatively quiet on the specifics.

Edwards was on the show with her group, Little Mix, to promote their new album “Glory Days.” But Edwards’ poignant revelation about her split that really stole the show. Little Mix’s latest album does have a lot of songs and themes about exes and the pain of breakups, so of course the question turned to Perrie Edwards, who has gone through one of the most public breakups we can imagine.

She said, “For a normal girl to go through something like that it's hard. I think when the whole world is looking at it and talking about it, you feel a bit [affected by it]. Obviously, I didn't say too much about it, I briefly mentioned it. I wasn't going to not mention it.

Honestly, say no more, girl. We get it.

Breakups are incredibly tough anyway, but on top of that having to go through a breakup when you and your ex are both so famous has got to be so hard.

Add on top of that it was recently revealed that Zayn broke up with Perrie over text, so we’ve got to seriously commend her strength and her class.

The fact that she is able to talk about her split openly without getting into the specifics or drama is seriously commendable, and we’re here for her.
