Pepperoni Drake is 6 seconds of pure perfection
It’s no secret that Drake’s dance moves are perfection. And after the “Hotline Bling” video I bet you thought they couldn’t possibly get any better. Well, feast your eyes on this video mashup that involves two of life’s greatest joys: Drake dancing and pepperoni pizza. Meet Pepperoni Drake.
This video may be only six seconds long, but a lot happens in that six seconds. First, Pepperoni Drake makes it rain pepperoni on a ginormous pizza. We catch him just as he’s adding the final slices, and his pizza-making skills are seriously impressive. He’s very precise and exact with his pepperoni throws, while still managing to be graceful. Gentle, even. I like to think that when Drake makes homemade pizza, it looks a lot like this.
Once he’s finished adding pepperoni, he offers us a phone number to call: 800-P-I-Z-Z-A-B-L-I-N-G. Silly Pepperoni Drake, that phone number is more than seven digits long! But I see what you were going for, and I’m sure that won’t stop people from calling the number anyway. After all, Pepperoni Drake’s pizza place is open late, and it does promise free delivery. Those are arguably the two most crucial factors considered when ordering pizza.
And finally, the lyrics tie it all together: “Call me on my cell phone, late night when you need my love.” I’m pretty sure he’s speaking as the pizza here, folks. And in that case, yes, Pepperoni Drake: I will call you on your cell phone the next time it’s late at night and I’m craving a slice of ‘za.
