People are turning this crashed car into an art installation
Creative inspiration can come from the most unlikely of sources. But is there ever a line for going too far to find inspiration? For folks in Australia, the inspiration for the latest popular art installation is in the form of a crashed car.
As reported by Buzzfeed, after a car crashed into a tree near Melbourne’s hipster neighborhood of Fitzroy, it became the perfect canvas for the latest neighborhood art project.
It started out as a simple, damaged Toyota Camry, but after weeks of neglect, unknown artists in the area began to spray it entirely gold.

Others are now hopping into the project, adding their own flare to it.
Local residents are dressing up in costumes, posing for commemorative pictures with the crashed car-turned-local-art-attraction.
