This is how desperate people are to get their hands on Dunkaroos, because it *was* the greatest snack of the ’90s after all
Are you still grieving over the tragic fact that Dunkaroos (aka the greatest snack ever) were discontinued in 2012? Me too. But, there’s a glimmer of hope — in a sign of just how desperate people are to get their hands on Dunkaroos, the new website Smugglaroos helps people smuggle the snack from Canada to the United States.
According to The Globe and Mail, General Mills launched the Smugglaroos marketing campaign when they realized that nostalgic '90s kids were scouring the web for Dunkaroos, even willing to pay a hefty price to obtain the snack.
In somewhat of an understatement, General Mills marketing director Jason Doolan said: “There is still an affinity for this product.” Luckily, Smugglaroos is here to make things a little easier on us and our bank accounts.

How does the process work? The website connects American users to a Canadian traveler who is passing through the United States. Don't worry, safety tips are included — everyone wants their Dunkaroos, but let's not forget to smuggle responsibly.
Dunkaroos knows that millennials are a nostalgic bunch — and luckily for us, Smugglaroos has vowed to “Make America Dunk Again.” Now there’s a slogan I can get behind.
