We know it’s still Thanksgiving but we can’t stop watching Pentatonix’s newest Christmas video

It’s that time of year. Most of us are putting the finishing touches on Thanksgiving dinner or trying to get comfortable after eating probably one too many portions. And then there are those of us obsessively watching Pentatonix’s newest Christmas video.

We know that a lot of people think you should wait to listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. But once you hear this song, it will automatically have you feeling the festive Christmas vibes.

They’ve wowed us before with their incredible a capella renditions, and their newest take is nothing short of perfection.

The 5-person group took on their version of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and if anything will put you into the early Christmas spirit, it’s this song.

Pentatonix, which includes Avi Kaplan, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Mitch Grassi, are known for putting incredible and modern twists on songs using only their voices. They have the ability to take a song even you don’t like, flip it and make you borderline obsessed with their version.

Their take on “God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman” is no different. It slays the original and is a gorgeous blend of harmonies and beatboxing. Together, they continue to outshine anyone else in the a capella world.
