Trust us, you don’t want to miss Pedro Pascal (aka, Oberyn Martell) wearing camo in “Esquire”

He may not be one of the most well-known actors out there today (yet!), but in our book, Pedro Pascal is a huge talent — and a total heartthrob. His biggest role to date is Oberyn Martell (aka the Red Viper) in Game of Thrones, and he probably takes the cake for most memorable death. He’s currently paying real-life DEA agent Javier Peña on the Netflix original series Narcos, whose third season is filming right now in Colombia.
Pedro also has a major role in The Great Wall, a movie you can see in theaters on February 17th. He starred alongside Matt Damon, Willem Dafoe, and Chinese actors Andy Lau and Jing Tian. It was directed by Zhang Yimou, who Pedro calls “the Steven Speilberg of China.”
Esquire did a spread on Pedro in their March 2017 issue, giving him the chance to talk about The Great Wall and show the world just how sexy camouflage can look on a man.

He looks fine as hell. Dapper, too. Our hearts are literally throbbing in our chests, Pedro.
He’s more than easy on the eye, though. Pedro spoke up about the whitewashing controversy with The Great Wall. People were not happy with the fact that a movie about the Great Wall in China features a white man: Matt Damon. Pedro recognizes that this is an issue, but he urges everyone to see the film before they judge, because many Chinese individuals played driving roles behind the scenes, as well as in front of the camera.
"Miss this and you'd be denying yourself exposure to Chinese masters of the form," Pedro told Esquire. "I think it's important that people see it and experience what isn't familiar to them in the Western world."
Well, the trailer certainly makes it look like an exciting movie, and now we’re intrigued. In the meantime, you can catch Pedro on Narcos or hanging out with his BFF Sarah Paulson. Or, you know, you can just put up pictures of camo-clad Pedro all over your bedroom, because he is such a babe.
