Your friendsgiving won’t be complete without this pecan pie martini
Calling all Thanksgiving lovers! Don’t you wish you could just drink your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Just throw that turkey, stuffing, gravy and casserole into a blender and slurp it up? Nope? Neither do we. However, this Thanksgiving cocktail might the perfect holiday drink of choice. It’s a Pecan Pie Martini, and it’s here to impress all your Friendsgiving guests. Instead of spending countless hours baking a pie, bring this dessert cocktail and blow their minds with how sweet it is. Let’s face it, the only thing that could have made pecan pie better is probably booze. 2016 was rough, so why not treat yourself to a little sweet and buzzy Thanksgiving?

Rim
Ingredients:
Melting chocolate
Crushed pecans
Directions:
Melt melting chocolate in a bowl and dip the rim of martini glass into the chocolate.
Dredge the rim in the crushed pecans until the chocolate is covered.
Freeze the glass to help the chocolate cool faster so it doesn’t drip (plus it makes the glass frosty which is a bonus).
Martini
Ingredients:
2 oz hazelnut liqueur
2 oz almond liqueur (Amaretto)
1 oz bourbon
1/2 oz creme de cacao
2 oz half & half
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a martini shaker with a handful of ice and shake for 15 seconds.
Strain into prepared martini glass and garnish with a whole pecan.
Serve immediately.
