Oreo might be meeting us in the cafeteria with a peanut butter and jelly flavor
If there’s a cookie company we can expect to keep us on our toes, it’s Oreo. Whether they’re releasing a Dunkin’ Donuts-inspired flavor, or a new cookie formula, they’re consistently taking our tastebuds on a journey. Now, while there are some flavors we hope they never make (hard pass on kale), we are still always open to trying something new. Case in point: peanut butter and jelly Oreos.
Truly, is there anything more nostalgic than the classic PB&J? Probably not. And it seems like Oreo knows this, too, since these bad boys are (possibly) being put on shelves today to celebrate back-to-school season.

In a post by JunkBanter.com, we see a rather realistic-looking Oreo PB&J package. While the brand hasn’t confirmed that these are, in fact, the real deal, we wouldn’t be surprised if they were legit. In the Instagram post, JunkBanter.com says,
"Woke up to some porn in my inbox today. New PB&J Oreos! 😍 This has long been a dream flavor for me and is the perfect release for back-to-school season (peep that chalkboard math on the package). My intel suggests they're exclusive to Kroger stores, which makes sense since Kroger got an exclusive last August too (the awful Swedish Fish). These will be on shelves as soon as today."
If you’re dying to try this childhood mash-up, then we suggest finding a Kroger near you. While we’re not quite sure what this concoction will taste like, we have a feeling it will, at the very least, taste like childhood.
Even if you’re not into PB&J sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly Oreos seem like something you have to try at least once.
