The beautiful way celebs are paying tribute to Paul Walker today

Two years ago today, Paul walker died in a tragic car accident. But despite being gone, Walker is anything but forgotten. Walker’s friends and costars took to Instagram and Twitter today to honor Walker and his memory.

The posts ranged from heartbreaking to heart warming.

Vin Diesel posted this photo with no caption. It’s obvious that Paul Walker and Vin Diesel had a very special and close relationship. This past spring, Vin Diesel even named his newborn in honor of Walker. This March, Diesel shared with Natalie Morales of the Today Show, “I named her Pauline.” Diesel went on to describe the moment of her birth. “He was in the room. There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just … knew he was there.” Diesel isn’t the only cast member that still finds himself grappling with the loss. Tyrese also took to Instagram to share his remorse over the second year without Paul Walker.

Tyrese captioned the post with some heart wrenchingly honest thoughts on loss, and asked people to keep Walker’s family in their thoughts and prayers. “It’s still not easy…… 2 years ago today… We lost our brother….. Today I’m just gonna lay low and process….. Clarity through Prayers and perspective is what I always seek and pray for…. With a heavy heart I post this….. Please continue to pray for the Walker family and his real friends who was with him every single day[…]#RIH ( Rest in heaven )”

But Tyrese also shared a fun moment with Walker. A fan sent Tyrese a video, a reminder of the type of person Walker was.

Jordana Brewster also remembered Paul Walker today, posting a smiling photo of the late movie star, captioned with a Ralph Waldo Emerson quotation.
