The parrot that sings “Everything is Awesome” will make your heart swell with happiness

Yellow-naped Amazon parrots are known for their language skills, but one amazing bird in Florida is stepping up the parrot-game with her singing abilities. Meet Princess Yellowfeather. Her owners at a pet store called Birds on Safari shared a video of her singing “Everything is Awesome” from The Lego Movie, and maybe the positive message from the song is getting to us, but after listening to this talented little birdie, everything is awesome.

Parrots like Princess Yellowfeather are actually considered great pets because they love being the center of attention and seem like they have a sense of humor. Yellow-naped Amazon parrots can live for over sixty years (so they are basically humans with feathers) and have a track record of forming close, loving relationships with their owners. Aww! Sidenote: they also have a vicious side, so if you’re already googling where to buy one, maybe start off with a parakeet and see how that goes.
