The final season of ‘Parks and Rec’ will be bananas good. Here’s proof.

The promo for the final season of Parks and Rec has arrived on the great wide wonderful web, confirming what we already know, but haven’t wanted to accept: it’s almost over.

In last season’s finale, our favorite people from Pawnee jumped three years into the future. The year is 2017: Leslie has bangs, Jerry-Gary-Larry now goes by Terry and Jon Hamm’s Ed is incompetent.

The promo raises a lot of questions that I’m dying to find the answers to. Is Tom the self-proclaimed “mogul” he says he is? Why are he, April and Andy in Chicago? Speaking of Andy, what’s the deal with his ninja TV show? These vignettes and more are coupled with fun futuristic gadgets, like drones and 3D tablets, that are seemingly a normal part of everyday life. Parks and Rec, you have my undivided attention.

I’m ready to soak up every last bit of Leslie Knope I can get. The seventh and final season of Parks and Rec begins January 13th. And if it’s anything like the promo, it is—LITERALLY—going to be wonderful.
