Paris Jackson remembers her dad on her 18th birthday with a touching tattoo
It’s been almost seven years since Michael Jackson’s death, but the world won’t soon forget him — and neither, of course, will his daughter, Paris Jackson. Earlier this month, she posted a touching tribute on Instagram, calling Michael her “archangel.” And now, for her 18th birthday, Paris had her father’s handwriting tattooed onto her left arm.
Paris debuted her new ink on Instagram. “‘Queen of My Heart’ in his handwriting,” Paris wrote in the caption. “To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart.” She also credited her tattoo artist, Justin Lewis of Timeless Tattoo 738, whom she called a “legend.”
Paris and her cousin, Austin Brown, also posed for a photo in the tattoo parlor after getting her ink:
We can’t possibly think of a more beautiful idea for a tattoo — and a more wonderful way for Paris to spend her birthday. And that’s not all she did for the big 1-8. She also went to Disneyland with her boyfriend and best friends, calling it the “best birthday ever.”
We totally agree. A beautiful tattoo and a wonderful day with all the people who are closest to you? We’re pretty sure Paris Jackson knows how to celebrate a birthday the right way. Happy belated birthday, Paris, and we know your dad would be proud of the awesome woman you’ve become.
