Paris Jackson’s response to the backlash over her armpit hair is perfect

We have breaking news, everyone. Paris Jackson grows hair on her armpits. Because she’s a human being. Strangely enough, there are some people out there who have a hard time coming to terms with this fact. On her Instagram story, Paris posted a picture that showed off her armpit hair, which was met with some nasty backlash. She had a few brilliant things to say in response, though, and we loved every second of it.

As soon as people started negatively commenting on Paris’s armpit hair, she fired back on her Insta story by pointing out that there’s nothing nasty or embarrassing about having hair on your body. In fact, it’s the opposite — it’s perfectly normal and healthy.

"I didn’t realize that people were going to get so upset over my armpit hair. I didn’t realize that was such an issue. It is so funny," Paris said.

Instead of shying away from her armpit hair, Paris showed it off for everyone to see, visibly proud of the fact that it took her two months to grow that tiny patch of hair. “It’s not a lot, it’s really not, but I’m fucking proud of it. Really proud. And so many people are so mad,” she said.

“You can just tell how angry and infuriated these people are… I love hair, and sweat, and BO,” Paris continued. “Some people think that it’s like super disgusting, especially on girls, but every human body does it. It’s natural. Get over it.”

She even posted on Twitter about it, hilariously reminding everyone she “grows hair like every other human being on the planet.” false

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen powerful women show off their armpit hair. Miley Cyrus, Jemima Kirke, and Madonna have all tossed aside their razors and gone au naturel. Paris is doing the same — and she’s doing it boldly. We dig it.
