Paris Jackson gave her hair a huge makeover, and she looks badass

Paris Jackson just cut off all her hair and dyed it blonde. A pretty drastic move for anyone, celeb or not, but we have to admit it looks pretty amazing. Her natural hair color is a pretty, natural brown, but the teen had most recently been dying it jet black.

However, it seems she needed a change — or just wanted to find out if blondes actually do have more fun. Now, going from dyed-black to any decent shade of blonde isn’t something that magically happens overnight. Removing the black dye takes time, skill, and patience, especially if you don’t want to damage your hair. Paris did it in steps, and worked the in-between phase, utilizing the transitional reddish orange hair the dye process gave her to post an Aladdin Sane-style tribute to Bowie.

She posted a photo on Instagram a week ago with the caption: “you gotta embrace the awkward phase from jet black to blonde where it’s pretty much orange… ch ch ch ch changes.”

That color didn’t last long though. She finished the transformation, and posted a photo debuting her short, cropped, blonde hair.

She looks great, but we have to wonder if this is going to be her final look. She still has some yellow tones in there that she can play with or lighten up to a lighter, platinum shade. Or maybe she plans on experimenting with pastel rainbow shades next! We’ll just have to wait and see.
