This Paralympian’s PERFECT Lumière costume makes us adore him for so many reasons
Halloween is a truly magical time of year when it comes to creativity. So many people from so many different walks of life are always coming up with surprising (and often hysterical) costumes. And there’s nothing we love more than a costume that combines a little Halloween creativity with some of our favorite Disney characters.
Needless to say, we are obsessed with Josh Sundquist and his stunning Lumière costume.
He looks exactly like the iconic animated Beauty and the Beast character and it is blowing our minds.
But his costume is only part of why we are amazed by this man. Sundquist is a Paralympian, author, and motivational speaker who totally owns the fact that he is an amputee and uses his story to inspire others. In short, he’s as amazing as the jaw-dropping costumes he creates.
Every year, he creates the most ~epic~ Halloween costumes that happily highlight the fact that he only has one leg.
This year’s costume seems to take his love for Halloween to the next level. He uploaded a video that shows all the materials that went into his look. Despite the fact that the costume itself is spectacular, the materials that created it are surprisingly normal.
Of course, it still takes a complete “DIY genius” (as Sundquist calls his talented assistant and costume designer, Lisa) to put it all together for such an impressive finished masterpiece.

Though Sundquist would look awesome on his own anywhere he goes this Halloween, he’s requested a “couple’s costume” with Bernie Sanders since, well, it would be perfect.
Sundquist’s playful positivity is infectious. He, like Lumière, brings tons of laughter and light into this world. We hope his Halloween is filled with dancing dishes and happy guests.
