And now for the awards show news we’ve all been waiting to hear: The Oscar nominees for 2017 were just announced, and we’re super pumped to fill you in on all the details. Now you can process all the feelings you’re bound to have about which of your favorite actors and films received Oscar nods (as well as those on the unfortunate list of Oscar snubs).
On Tuesday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced nominations for the 89th Academy Awards (which will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel). As noted by The New York Times, there was no live audience present for the announcements, which were revealed during a global live stream on Oscars.com.
