If Oscar-nominated movie posters were a little more straight-forward
The Academy Awards are still a month away, but they’re pretty much ALL anyone can talk about. There have already been some awesome Oscar-related moments and some not-so-awesome moments. File this one under “Holy bananas, they went there.” The website, The Shiznit, took some of the posters for films that nabbed nominations and translated them into slightly snarky synopses. As they put it: “It’s impossible for us to comment on a news item without making some sort of crudely Photoshopped picture, so we decided to make new posters for the nominees that tell you what you can really expect.”
