Your mail can be très chic with these Oscar de la Renta stamps
Whether you’re sending off valentines or your electrical bill, it’s totally understandable that you’d want your outgoing mail to be chic AF. Now, those who like their mail to skew glam are in luck. The U.S. Postal Service is honoring the late, great fashion designer Oscar de la Renta with a series of glorious commemorative Forever stamps.
These stamps are as epically elegant and wonderfully stylish as the man they commemorate. There is a black and white portrait stamp of the designer himself ~and~ 11 stamps featuring details from his sophisticated-as-all-get-out gowns.

Actually, scratch that thing up top about electric bills, we’re saving these divine stamps for valentines.
They are just too pretty to waste on boring mail.
Oscar de la Renta company CEO Alex Bolen issued a lovely statement about the commemorative stamps honoring their fearless leader, who passed away in 2014.
According to "Town and Country," the Bolen said, "Our family and our company are profoundly honored that the U.S. Postal Service has chosen to memorialize Oscar de la Renta's life and work with this series of beautiful stamps. Oscar was proud to be an American and this would have made him tremendously happy. To commemorate his personal version of the 'American Dream' with these stamps is a great honor for which we thank the U.S. Postal Service."
The Oscar de la Renta stamps will be available February 16th.
It’s clear from the current selection of Forever stamps that the USPS is really rolling out the red carpet for us culture vultures.
Seriously, check out the A+ selection.
