By now, you’ve definitely seen that weird photo of Adele making the rounds on the Internet. If you haven’t, let us show you:

At first glance, it simply looks as if the photo is turned upside down. However, when you actually flip the photo, you can see that some very terrifying liberties have been taken with her face.

You wouldn’t think such a simple thing would be so effective, but it definitely packs a punch once you see the photo correctly. Adele isn’t the only target of this optical prank. Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, and Nicki Minaj are just a few other celebs who have had their faces rearranged for them.

Our favorite one is probably the Meghan Trainor one. This photo showcases more than just her face, so the optical illusion is even more effective.

The worst part is that even though you’ve been warned, you still can’t seem to stop yourself from flipping the photo and freaking yourself out. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it. They’re so unsettling, yet creepily addictive, which is probably exactly the point.
