Some excellent Oprah vibes to kick off the year

I hope you’re making your way through this chilly winter week just fine. Did you see the Golden Globes on Sunday? I was out and about, but thoroughly enjoyed all the Twitter updates. Whether you were watching the real deal or the live tweets, one thing’s for sure: Oprah nailed it.

Her speech was eloquent and strong and pretty much everyone was crying (me as well, of course). For a night all about empowerment, truth, and “Time’s Up,” she really brought it all together beautifully. (Also, congrats on that Cecil B. DeMille award, Oprah. More than well-deserved.)
