Chad Michael Murray revisited iconic “One Tree Hill” locations — and welcome back, Lucas Scott

Before we dive deep into this piece of news, you need to set the mood. Cue up Gavin DeGraw’s “I Don’t Want To Be,” put on your old Tree Hill Ravens basketball jersey and get ready to head back in time to when One Tree Hill was still on the air (ahhh, those were the days). Okay, you ready for this? Chad Michael Murray just revisited some of the most iconic spots from One Tree Hill, and his Instagram photos and captions are going to make you extremely nostalgic.
While in North Carolina for a One Tree Hill fan convention (which sounds incredibly awesome, BTW, thanks for the invite, my dude), Murray took the time to awaken the OTH fans in all of us by stopping by some of the spots they used to film on location, including Lucas’ house and yes, *the* bridge. It’s been so long but damn, seeing Lucas Scott back on the bridge where it all began 15 years ago is making us feel all kinds of things we weren’t expecting to today.
This is the kind of #TBT content we all needed.
It may be the middle of the work day but Murray’s Instagram posts have inspired us to rewatch the OTH pilot and man, it still holds up. Despite alleged sexual harassment behind-the-scenes, which is so heartbreaking to hear about now, it doesn’t tarnish the legacy that all these characters left behind.
Lucas, Nathan, Brooke, Haley and Peyton lived, loved, made mistakes and learned from them as they all grew up to be incredibly inspiring people, and we got to witness it all unfolding on our TV screens every week. *Sniff* We’re not crying, you’re crying!
Thank you, Murray, for being just as passionate as us about OTH, even all these years later. Thanks to the constant throwback Instas, it’s safe to say that he might be the biggest One Tree Hill fan there is (and that’s saying something!).
