One of the most-pinned fashion trends of 2016 is a direct result of the election
The historic presidential race was this year’s biggest news story — so, unsurprisingly, one of the most-pinned fashion trends of 2016 is a direct result of the election. And, it’s a positive trend that emphasizes women are the future — especially the loud, proud nasty women among us.
The trend extends far beyond our fashion choices — since Trump’s shocking win, over 4,500 women have signed up to run for office. In her incredibly gracious, inspiring concession speech, Hillary Clinton urged us to never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it and to stay involved in politics — and we’re so glad to see that so many of her supporters have chosen to honor her by not giving up.
Let’s make one thing very clear — we are the future
Nasty women aren’t going anywhere
The next generation is the future — send the message early
Wear your feminist pride in style
Let’s be clear about the definition of “nasty woman”
We’ll never stop voting
A nasty woman’s place is in the Oval Office
This setback is devastating, but we’ll honor Clinton with action
As Clinton said during her November 9th speech, that hardest, highest glass ceiling will be shattered — and “hopefully sooner than we might think right now.” We owe it to her to honor with action — and you can bet that nasty women will never stop fighting for what’s right.
