The amazing reason why the dudes of One Direction never text each other
Isn’t it fun to imagine celebrities doing normal things? I like to envision Anna Kendrick making Easy Mac and Jennifer Lawrence going grocery shopping. I’ve also daydreamed about being included in One Direction’s group text. They have to have a group text right? They’re BFFs!
In my head, the on-going conversation between the British boy band members would include juicy girl talk (“For the last time, m8s,” Harry would type, “it’s not about Taylor! Sad face emoji!!”) and tons of selfies to Zayn, just to keep him up to date.
It turns out my daydreams about 1D’s group text is just that – a dream!
“I actually don’t have any of my bandmates’ numbers, which I think is hilarious,” Liam Payne revealed to People. “I see them every day, so I don’t really need to text them.”
Oh, that’s kind of more adorable than a quirky group text.
One Direction’s latest album, Made in the A.M. debuted yesterday, marking one more step toward Liam, Harry, Niall, and Louis’ hiatus that they’ve schedule to begin in March. After five albums in five years, the lads have definitely earned the break, but it will be weird for them to live apart from each other.
Liam’s already considered it, and might be the one to create the epic group text. He said, “I’ll have to get [their numbers], which is quite funny.”
