One Direction just played the juiciest game of “Never Have I Ever” with Ellen
Ellen DeGeneres is in the business of making dreams come true, and now she’s done it again. The guys from One Direction stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat with her about all things music and 1D, and during their appearance, they entered into a friendly game of Never Have I Ever. Right out of the gate, DeGeneres asks if they’ve ever had a song written about them. Harry Styles ponders this for a second, and then answers with “I Have Never.”
DeGeneres is quick to respond, “We’re not going to play if you’re going to lie.” Bless you, Ellen.
The questions only get better from there, if you can believe it. The guys struggle a little bit with math, trying to figure out if they’ve ever made out with anyone double their age (they’re still working through that multiplication problem), and admit to going skinny dipping in a hotel pool before (but Liam wasn’t invited). Also, fun fact, Harry has hooked up with a fan before! And then he comments, “I think [my paddle] is broken.”
Niall also admits to lying about his name, and often told people that he was “Nick from the Backstreet Boys.” This is all pure gold.
Check out the full clip below and watch Liam, Louis, and Niall tell the truth — and Harry continue to drop little white lies.
