Barack and Michelle Obama danced the night away at the On the Run II tour, and the videos are legendary

Politics aside, there are lots of reasons to miss former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama. Their adorable displays of affection, Barack’s penchant for breaking out into song, Michelle’s countless pop culture moments — remembering the laughter and levity from the couple’s White House tenure is exactly the self-care we need in the current political climate. Which is why we can’t stop smiling over videos of Barack and Michelle gettin’ down at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On The Run II tour stop in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, July 28th.

Even better? This isn’t the first time Michelle’s been caught on tape dancing her heart out to two of the music industry’s biggest artists. Just a couple weeks ago, she was spotted jamming out stage-side with Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mom, when the On the Run II tour stopped in Paris. But let’s face it: Seeing the Obamas dance together again seriously makes our hearts go pitter-patter. And makes us wish we could join in on that dance party, of course.

Check out Barack and Michelle’s On the Run II tour dance moves for yourself.

You’re in luck, because we’ve got a second look for you. Ya know, just in case one wasn’t enough.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter went wild for the candid footage of the Obamas dancing.

Please excuse us while we take another listen (or three) to “Come Back, Barack” and revisit some of the Obama family’s best moments. Yeah, we’re all up in our #feels now.
