OMG: Solange just released a limited edition ‘A Seat At The Table’ book, and we’ve *got* to have one
We definitely agree that 2016 was a pretty awful year, but one bright light within all of the messy, stressful darkness was Solange’s A Seat At The Table. Honestly, the hits on the album kept us going when we thought we’d be better off just hiding in our beds forevermore, with tracks like “Cranes In The Sky” on repeat for clearly obvious reasons. Her artistry is truly stunning, and we’re indebted to her talent! So when we heard that Solange was releasing a a limited edition A Seat At The Table book, it was an actual dream come true.
Solange alerted fans with a post on her Facebook page last night, where she announced that the limited edition A Seat At The Table book was available. We were SO EXCITED!
In the post, Solange says,
"I've made a limited qty of my #aseatatthetable book available via specialty art & book stores, my website, & up now for order on the @saintheronshop ... All lyrics by Me Published by @anteism_books (Harley Smart) Photography and Art Direction @carlota_guerrero and Solange. Graphic Design Querida and Fre'derique Gagnon."
Yes, yes, yes! Just having this incredibly beautiful and *super* important album hanging out on our coffee table would be such an incredible source of calm and inspiration. We couldn’t love Solange more!

While the A Seat At The Table book doesn’t come cheap, it is beyond worth it. The combination of Solange’s incredible lyrics alongside the stunning photos from the album transforms this from just another book to a true work of art.
Will we be grabbing a copy of this book? DEFINITELY. And considering our love for all things Solange and how much faith we have in the quality of her work, we for sure encourage you to do the same. After all, why not have a constant visual representation of all the good in the album?!
