OMG: Elisha Cuthbert used to star on “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”
One of our favorite spooking series back in the ’90s was Are You Afraid of the Dark? It was a series where a group of friends known as the Midnight Society got around the fireplace and told the kinds of stories that kept us up all night imagining that we saw ghosts in the closet. What we didn’t realize was that SO many stars made an appearance on Are You Afraid of the Dark? including one of our fave hilarious ladies.
Elisha Cuthbert played Megan on Are You Afraid of the Dark? in the later years of the Midnight Society.
Yeah, Elisha was in a BUNCH of episodes, and we didn’t even realize.
A few years after her stint on Nickelodeon, Elisha made a huge splash in one of our favorite teen comedies, The Girl Next Door.
Yep, she shed her jean jacket and half pony, becoming this total bombshell. The Girl Next Door is when we first fell in love with Elisha Cuthbert, because, while she was cast to play the gorgeous girl, Elisha is so charming and funny that we all had a new girl crush on her personality too.
She also starred in the totally classic sitcom Happy Endings.
She played Alex, and she had some of the best and weirdest one-liners.
And she showed off her badass side as Jack Bauer’s daughter in 24.
