The Olympic gymnastics team’s reaction to taking selfies with Kimye is all of us
Everyone loves snapping a selfie or two, world-renowned athletes included. Fresh off their history-making Olympic performances, the “Final Five” gymnasts (minus Gabby Douglas who was being treated for a medical issue) attended the VMAs, and embraced their inner fangirls.
Laurie Hernandez (aka the sassiest member) managed to grab a quick selfie with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (oh, who are we kidding. KIMYE forever)! Her smile was dazzling as usual, proving why she’s been dubbed “the human emoji,” and the perfect person for Crest’s new beauty campaign.
Phew, we admire her ability to take initiative! Naturally, this starstruck moment was captured on social media for us to gush over.

Simone and Kardashian is girl power to the MAX.
It’s safe to say that these gymnasts had a fantastic time at the VMAs, where they also got to meet Beyoncé and present her with the Best Female Video award. NBD.
So what was the highlight of their year, we wonder? Winning multiple gold medals at the Olympics, meeting Zac Efron, or this? Hmm. That’s clearly impossible to answer.
