Olympian predicts the future in 2011, in 2016 it comes TRUE!

We’ve all heard that if you believe in something enough and are willing to work for it, it can become a reality. It turns out that’s even true when it comes to the Olympics.
20-year-old badass runner and now Olympian Morolake Akinosun had a clear vision of what she wanted and just showed us all how she made her dreams into a reality.
In 2016 I will be 22, graduated from a school I have not chosen yet, and going to the olympics (:

Well she just recently gave us the magnificent update on that powerful tweet and it is too awesome to handle.
I tweeted that 5 years ago.
It's 2016.
I graduate from Texas in December.
I'm going to the Olympics next week. https://t.co/vusyh5G5Y3— Morolake Akinosun™ (@MsFastTwitch) July 30, 2016
It was a very simple intention with an incredible dream behind it that she was able to impressively make real. Akinosun will be competing in Rio in two events, the 100 meter sprint and the 4×100 meter relay. She’s a formidable athlete who has already earned a spot in the history books as the second woman in history to score at four events during the NCAA Outdoor Championships and we’re all hoping for big things from her.
Not only is it impressive to qualify for the Olympics (obviously), but it’s even more inspiring to know how long and hard you’ve got to fight to make a dream this amazing come to life.
Thanks for reminding us that sometimes the biggest, most impressive feats can begin with a simple (under 144 character) statement.
