Olivia Munn clapped back in the best way after fans accused her of throwing shade at ex Aaron Rodgers

In hilarious/empowering news, Olivia Munn hit back at critics by poking fun at her split from Aaron Rodgers — and her response was perfect. They dated for three years, and some people have opinions. But there’s a time and a place, and courtesy was lacking in this case.

In case you’re just catching up, Rodgers plays for the NFL on the Green Bay Packers, and the photo that Munn received prickly comments about was an Instagram photo of herself next to comedian Nick Swardson — who just happened to be wearing a Minnesota Vikings hat (aka Rodgers’ rival team).

Here was the innocuous pic in question.

But of course, this drew instant criticism/speculation/rudeness from the peanut gallery:

So what did Munn do?

She photoshopped Aaron Rodgers onto Swardson’s hat, in place of the Vikings logo.

"I should've asked @nickswardson to wear his other favorite hat. (Note to all friends: Please remove all sports paraphernalia whilst we hang out.)" she captioned the pic.

LOL.

Way to turn the situation on its head, Olivia. Let’s acknowledge that she is free to hang out with whoever she pleases, so judgment about this was completely unnecessary. But more importantly, people wear hats sometimes, so the internet needs to chill. Her response was so on point and perfectly pointed out the absurdity of the situation.

On another note, Munn’s professional life is pretty exciting right now. She’s got several movies in various stages of completion, including Ocean’s Eight and The Predator. Go, girl!
