The first “Ocean’s 8” poster is here, and it’s so beautiful it belongs in a museum
Danny Ocean, who? The first official poster for Ocean’s 8 is here and it is like something out of our wildest dreams.
The film, which is slated for release in summer 2018, follows Debbie Ocean — sister to George Clooney’s Danny — and her crew of seven brilliant ladies as they set off on a mission to pull off the heist of the century at the Met Gala. Featuring the stacked cast of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, and Awkwafina — who may just be the most stylish thieves we’ve ever seen — the poster makes it clear that Ocean’s 8 is the can’t-miss comedy of the summer, replete with the killer tagline, “Every con has its pros.”
Sure, they may be cons, but all we see here are pros.
Many of the ladies from the film have taken to social media to share the poster. They’re excited, we’re excited, is it 2018 yet??

Seriously, though, we need to up our everyday looks after seeing this poster.
The film may even be more star-studded than an Avengers movie, as James Corden, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, and Richard Armitage are also set to star, with Matt Damon and Carl Reiner set to make cameos as their characters Linus Caldwell and Saul Bloom from the original Ocean’s films. And naturally, since the Met Gala is the setting of the heist, the film wouldn’t be complete without appearances from Gala icon Anna Wintour and high-profile attendees like Zac Posen, Alexander Wang, Katie Holmes, Adriana Lima, Kim Kardashian West, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Zayn Malik.
As for how Debbie Ocean is able to round up her crew, Bullock remained pretty tight-lipped in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, but she did reveal that each crew member does have a specialty but hasn’t been able to live up to their full thieving potential — until Debbie comes along.
"Everyone has their specialty, yes. What’s fun is that it’s not their whole life. And they haven’t been able to do what they’re brilliant at because the industry, if you can call it the industry, the industry of crime hasn’t really allowed them to excel and execute what they’re good at," Bullock said. "So you’ll find one who’s a stay-at-home mom with two children who sells things on the QVC. And here comes Debbie Ocean who enlists their help of them, but not because she only wants females. It’s really fun."
As if we weren’t excited enough! Ocean’s 8 is set to steal our hearts and roll into theaters in June 2018.
