Obama amazingly plays himself in the Key and Peele “Anger Translator” sketch
The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner is always filled with hijinks and hilarity and this year was no different. Our beloved Keegan-Michael Key of “Key and Peele” brought his hilarious “Presidential Anger Translator” bit to the night. Normally, on the show, Jordan Peele plays the part of President Obama giving a calm and level-headed speech while Key stands behind Peele’s Obama and “translates” all the pissed-off feelings the president is really feeling.
At this year’s Correspondents’Dinner, the REAL President Obama took the podium, and Key played the “Luther the Anger Translator” for the ACTUAL president. Key is ON his anger-translating game and Obama does an admirable job of keeping a straight face through the whole bit. Also, things get really fun about halfway through when the real Obama starts to get a little fiery in his speech-making and Key’s Luther has NO idea what to do with this.
