OPI’s new nail polish collection was inspired by Iceland’s majestic landscapes
One of the best parts of getting a manicure is reading all of the bizarre nail polish names and imagining how they were brainstormed. But the brand new fall nail polish collection from OPI is inspired by Iceland, so we don’t have to guess what informed this gorgeous palette.
Inspired by the scenic volcanos and glaciers unique to Iceland, OPI’s Iceland Nail Polish collection includes 12 new shades in the Nail Lacquer, Long-Wear Infinite Shine, and GelColor formulas. The gorgeous nail polish shades run the gamut from watery blues to fiery sunset shades, and of course, a good dose of earthy greens and browns.
This collection makes us want to run away to Iceland even more than we already did.
The OPI co-founder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann shared her excitement for the launch in a press release.
"Iceland is quickly rising to the top of everyone’s "must-see" list, thanks to its unparalleled landscapes, diverse food culture, and unique fashion. In designing the colors for the Iceland Collection, I was of course inspired by the country’s rugged, natural beauty – from the rare northern lights to majestic glaciers, Iceland is unlike anywhere else in the world!"
We’re all about being transported to this landscape.
The Nail Lacquer formula costs $10.50 per bottle, Infinite Shine costs $12.50 per bottle, and the Gel Color Formula is exclusively used in salons. You can also buy a mini 4-pack from Ulta Beauty for just $14.50.
