DO NOT skip the credits after “Finding Dory”!

By the time the credits roll on most movies, chances are you’re super tired of sitting in a movie theater. First you stand in line to buy snacks, then you sit through 20 minutes of trailers, then the movie finally starts and lasts anywhere from an hour and a half to three hours (in some really, really long situations). The last thing you want to do is sit through five minutes of end-credits, especially if you have kids in tow.

But whatever you do — don’t skip the credits after Finding Dory! Rewards come to those who wait. For only the fifth time in the studio’s history, Pixar has created an after-credits scene for one of its movies.

Finding Dory is now in theaters, but fair warning to turn back now if you haven’t seen it yet and want that after-credit scene to be a surprise, because spoilers are real. But if you want to know what that scene is before you go (or if you saw the movie already and bailed before the end of the credits and want to know what you missed), keep reading.

After the credits are finally done, the camera pans up from the depths of the ocean to reveal The Tank Gang floating on top, still inside their plastic bags. Remember when they <a href=”http:// https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

“>escaped from P. Sherman’s dentist office, but had no where to go because they were stuck in bags?

Gill, Jacques, Gurgle, Peach, Deb, Bubbles, and Bloat are still there in front of Monterrey, California’s Marine Life Institute, but they’re completely covered in waste that has built up over the past 12 months. They are swooped up by Marine Life employees who will presumably release them to a larger tank (or, even better, back to the ocean).

It’s obviously a sad situation, but possibly hints at a third movie in the making!? Maybe the plot could focus on keeping our oceans clean.
